In the Umbrian Gold Chocolate Collection, Joan Coukos of Chocolat Moderne has teamed up with renowned chef Marc Murphy to create six exquisite new bonbons inspired by Murphy’s Umbrian Gold Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
We are excited to introduce three Umbrian Gold filled double layer bars! The milk chocolate Umbrian Gold Hazelnut Bar raises hazelnut praline to a new level! The top layer is a confection in the form of olive oil pâte de fruit and it is layered onto a crunchy milk chocolate hazelnut praline. The impact of first feeling the lusciousness of the olive oil and then enjoying the rich layer of chocolate praline provides a heightened sensory experience.
Umbrian Gold is a premium, cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil sourced from the sun-drenched hills of Umbria, Italy. Harvested at the peak of ripeness, its three different olive varietals create a balanced taste that harmonizes fruity, peppery, and slightly bitter notes. High in antioxidants and monounsaturated fats, it is as healthful as it is delicious!
Milk and dark chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa beans, whole milk powder, sunflower lecithin, natural vanilla), cane sugar, olive oil, water, cream (milk), glucose, hazelnuts, fruit pectin, emulsifier (from citrus), citric acid, salt, cornstarch. Decoration: cocoa butter with color added. May contain: other tree nuts, peanuts, and/or minimal alcohol.

They are made in a facility where milk, soy, tree nuts (almonds, cashews, coconut, hazelnuts, macadamia, pistachios, walnuts), peanuts, and sesame are present.
