In the Umbrian Gold Chocolate Collection, Joan Coukos of Chocolat Moderne has teamed up with renowned chef Marc Murphy to create six exquisite new bonbons inspired by Murphy’s Umbrian Gold Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
We are excited to introduce three Umbrian Gold filled double layer bars! The dark chocolate Umbrian Gold Espresso Bar is an intense dark chocolate-olive oil-espresso experience! The top layer is a confection in the form of olive oil pâte de fruit and it is layered onto a rich, espresso infused white chocolate ganache. The impact of first feeling the lusciousness of the olive oil and then enjoying the rich layer of chocolate provides a heightened sensory experience.
Umbrian Gold is a premium, cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil sourced from the sun-drenched hills of Umbria, Italy. Harvested at the peak of ripeness, its three different olive varietals create a balanced taste that harmonizes fruity, peppery, and slightly bitter notes. High in antioxidants and monounsaturated fats, it is as healthful as it is delicious!
Dark and white chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa beans, whole milk powder, sunflower lecithin, natural vanilla), cane sugar, olive oil, water, cream (milk), glucose, butter (milk), fruit pectin, vodka (from corn-added to preserve freshness), emulsifier (from citrus), citric acid, espresso, salt. Decoration: cocoa butter with color added. May contain: other tree nuts, peanuts, and/or minimal alcohol.
Allergens: milk. Contains minimum alcohol.
They are made in a facility where milk, soy, tree nuts (almonds, cashews, coconut, hazelnuts, macadamia, pistachios, walnuts), peanuts, and sesame are present.
