We have 17 years of experience shipping chocolate! Your chocolates will leave our facility in pristine condition, and if you follow our guidelines they will also arrive that way. FEDEX SHIPPING OPTIONS
Our Shipping Schedule: We ship Monday - Friday. Please allow up to two business days from date of order placement for orders to ship. In general, we do not ship orders that will be in transit over the weekend, in those cases we will ship the order on Monday. Please do not choose a Monday delivery date because they are hard to schedule without an interruption in consecutive transit days. You may indicate a delivery date, and it should correspond with the lead time indicated above, or it can be for a later date and we will hold and ship the order per your request. We recommend this to help you manage when the recipient will be at the address.
Detailed FedEx shipping policies are outlined further below but here are some important guidelines.
Please insure that someone will be at the delivery address to receive the package when it arrives, as we are not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, damaged or melted after the first delivery attempt. If possible, consider shipping to commercial addresses and/or choosing Fedex Shipping options with committed delivery times during the day such as the FedEx Express Overnight Options and FedEx Second Day A.M.
We ship using “No Signature Required” as we find that it works best for most cases as it alleviates the risk of damage from multiple delivery attempts. If you need a signature for Fedex to leave the package, please call us on 212-229-4797.
We ship year round to the 48 contiguous United States; not to Hawaii or Alaska. We cannot ship to PO Boxes. Please make sure your address is accurate and provide apartment and suite numbers to avoid delays, loss, or extra charges.
We recommend choosing a FedEx Express shipping option when the temperature is above 70º F at our location or at the destination. However, we do offer FedEx Ground/Home Delivery to specific destinations year round if we expect the order to arrive safely in current weather conditions. In all cases, we provide package insulation and non-toxic reusable gel packs free of charge when needed.
You will receive tracking and delivery information from FedEx via email upon shipment of your order. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER IF YOU DO NOT SEE AN EMAIL FROM FEDEX.
For FedEx Ground / Home Delivery:
Depending on the time of year, we offer Ground/Home Delivery shipping to zones with up to a 5 day transit time, once the package leaves our location, which usually adds one or two days to the transit time. If your package will be in transit over the weekend, we will usually ship the following Monday, especially if the weather is warm. The exception is for the five day transit zone, which will always be traveling over the weekend and is thus only available during the coldest time of the year. Please consult the map below for guidance.
Please note that due to forces beyond Fedex’s control, orders may not always arrive when expected, and we are not responsible in those cases.

Delivery the next business day in the afternoon by 3 p.m. to most areas and by 4:30 p.m. to some rural areas. Delivery by 8 p.m. to residences.
Saturday delivery via Express Overnight options is available for an additional charge, but may not be available for your location. Please call our office on 212-229-4797 to arrange, as it is not available on-line. Saturday delivery is also available for residential delivery via Fedex Home Delivery via ground service, detailed below.

Third-business-day delivery by 4:30 p.m. to most areas (by 8 p.m. to residences). We offer it in winter to zones where ground shipping is longer than 3 days.
FEDEX GROUND OPTIONS
We offer ground delivery to certain locations throughout the year, based on temperature and days in transit.
From November 1 through March 30 we offer it for a wider geographic area.
If ground shipping is available it will display at checkout based on the shipping address you have entered.
